Information we collect

We collect your name, email, phone number and the details you send us through our forms, reservations, texts and calls. We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website.

Information you provide

• Your first and last name, email address and phone number, including a mobile number if you choose to share one
• Reservation details, such as the date, time and number of guests, and any notes you add
• The inquiry type and message you send through our contact form
• Private event details you send through our event booking page, such as the event date, guest count, menu and package choices, and dietary notes
• Your typed name when you sign an event agreement online, and deposit and payment details for events (card payments are handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers)
• Email sign-up details: your email address
• The texts and voicemails you send us, and notes our team keeps from calls
• If you play Quick Draw: the nickname you choose, your times, the mobile number you give to save a time and a record of your texting consent (when and how you agreed), and a one-way scrambled version of your network address that we use only to stop cheating and limit plays
• Online orders you place through Toast, which processes them under its own terms

Information collected automatically

• Your IP address and the general location it suggests
• Your browser type, device type and operating system
• The pages you visit, the time you spend on them, and the website that referred you

How we use your information

We use your information to answer you, look after your reservation or event, and send the messages you asked for, including to:

• Reply to your questions by email, phone or text message
• Plan, confirm and follow up on reservations and private events
• Send booking details, deposit reminders and event updates you agreed to receive
• Take deposits and payments for events
• Send email updates if you signed up for them
• Operate, secure and improve our website
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

We do not use your information for unrelated purposes without telling you first.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• With service providers that help us run Neon Spur, who may use it only to perform services for us: Online reservation platforms, such as OpenTable; Event booking, event management and contract tools; Text messaging, calling and email providers; Payment processors; Website hosting and analytics providers; Online ordering (Toast)
• Among Clive Collective and all of its affiliated companies, including the companies that operate CALA, The Americano, KUZA, Tell Your Friends, Neon Spur and The Bungalow Kitchen. They may use it as this policy describes, for example to help with a reservation or event at any of our venues and to send you updates you signed up for. Mobile numbers and texting opt-ins are never shared for marketing (see Text messaging)
• When the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena or other legal process, or to protect the safety of our guests and staff
• If our business or a venue is sold or reorganized, as part of that transaction

Text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We text you only if you opt in on our website or booking page, or text us first. Saving a Quick Draw time signs you up for Neon Spur texts about deals, events and Quick Draw. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or reply HELP for help. See our text messaging terms for details.

Email updates

If you sign up for email updates, we send you news and offers from Neon Spur, Clive Collective and its other venues. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time. We may still send you messages about a request you made, such as a reservation or event.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use it.

We use PostHog. PostHog shows us which pages are visited, how people use our website and its features, and how visitors go on to plan events on our booking pages. These providers may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our website.

Your choices:

• Set your browser to block or delete cookies. Some parts of the website may not work as intended without them.

Do Not Track. Our website does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

Reservations, careers and other platforms

Some services are provided through third-party platforms, such as online reservation platforms, job application sites, online ordering and social media. Information you give those platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to respond to your request, provide our services, keep our business records, and meet legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No website, internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can control how we contact you and what we keep:

• Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop email updates
• Email info@weareclive.com to see the personal information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it

We answer these requests wherever you live, and some state laws give you additional rights. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep.

California residents

If you live in California, this policy describes the categories of personal information we collect and the categories of companies we share it with, how you can review and ask us to change your information, how we respond to Do Not Track signals, and how we tell you about changes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Children's privacy

Our website is intended for adults, and Neon Spur serves alcohol only to guests 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we post the updated policy on this page and change the date at the top. If we make a material change, we will also add a notice to our website. Your continued use of our website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
